This subject has been discussed in great detail for many years now .. and it will continue to be discussed because new companies use copy cat methods to push their products .. they troll the net and look at the marketing hype and reword it (somewhat) to fit their scheme. Then they sit back and wonder why they are not being deluged with orders. Most of the new companies on the market are like new folks who join News Groups .. they underestimate the level of knowledge of the consumer base line. The Old Salts chuckle when they see a new person trying to be helpful and posting a recipe for curing this or that .. a recipe that they probably have not tried .. that they pulled from one of the many " novels " out and about .. published by some one who also didn't try it and got it from another " novel " . More amusing it is when they claim it works .. is guaranteed to not rust, bust or collect dust .. and they keep a supply on hand at all times. In many cases what they claim to be curing should not come back so we wonder why they keep a supply on hand. ;-) > Again, thanks for taking the time to answer so thoroughly. > My pleasure for sure and welcome you are. > Nan > Y'all have a nice Sunday .. and keep smiling. :-) Butch ... http://www.AV-AT.com <http://www.av-at.com/> PS: Since I switched PCs I lost my old files (for now) .. but Marcia Elston has some good stuff on this subject on her web site .. Marcia .. got your ears on? > --- Butch Owen <butchowen wrote: > > > > Howdy Nan, > > > > > when a company says that the essential oils they are selling are > > > 'therapeutic grade', what kind of real meaning can be attached to that? > > > > > They are either misinformed .. or informed but chose to fib in order to > sell > > more oils.
