Guest guest
Butch, Even though I was unable to enlist or be drafted due to a missing kidney. I still have a very high regard for the military man and woman. Course, I was brought up outside Fort Benjamen Harrison, in the Lawrence, Indiana area. We were taught why we are able to still speak English in this country instead of strictly Japanese, German or Russian. Unfortunately, the schools no longer teach that to the young ones out there. I'm just glad that when I retired. I was able to retire to a community that still takes pride in the military and where the schools teach right from wrong with a paddle still waiting, if deserved. I also live in the Bible Belt, but in SE Tennessee. So we are kindred kinda. Take care and God Bless, Bill No apologies needed by me.
