I know I don't .. and I believe there are no oils or herbs that can assist in this case. I'm not even sure what the effects are of having nerve endings in the brain deadened .. but I do know that there are valid studies showing that short term memory is is improved when folks sniff Rosemary, Cineole (Rosmarinus officinalis). > Pam > Good luck .. and keep smiling. :-) Butch ... http://www.AV-AT.com <http://www.av-at.com/> PS: The Rose Absolute arrived in store this afternoon .. shipping out to buyers begins tomorrow. Guest guest
Actually I started replying, but wanted to check out a few facts, got side-tracked, my middle name, , and stuck it in draft. Thanks for the reminder, here goes. This ended up quite long. There ARE ways to get mercury out of the system, but one has to be careful. You don't want to have it go from say, a fatty tissue into the bloodstream and settle somewhere else. You want to make sure that the liver and the organs of elimination are supported, so that once your chelating tool has grabbed the mercury it gets OUT. Also, chelation will remove the good minerals from your body, so you need to replenish those. Fortunately that is easy. There are also food-based substances that support the body's ultimate repair system, the adult stem cell. Let's start with the chelation. The word comes from a Greek word that means to claw. You are looking for substances that grab the mercury and move it out. There are several. EDTA is usually used intravenously, under doctor's care. Massive amounts of Vitamin C can be helpful, visit my friend dr. Phil Bate for that. http://drbate.com This is a wonderful site with a wealth on information on the mind-body connection. I have known Dr Phil (no relation) for years. I do not share his enthousiasm for isolated vitamins, but his work is terrific. I once paid for the book that is now free on his website and considered it money well spent. Just yesterday Dr. Bate published this addendum to his Vit C information: ___ " I've made a discovery these past weeks that amazed me. I had assumed that all forms of vitamin C were the same in the actions of it. There are two actions that are not generally known to most MD's: 1. Vitamin C kills virus and bacterial infections IF used in correct amounts. 2. Vitamin and Glutathione are the two " natural " method that can take toxic minerals out of the body/ However, there is a caveat about the second of these actions. It seems that only basic ascorbic acid works to take out minerals. If the Vitamin C is an an ascorbate form (Calcium or Sodium Ascorbate), then it is is not able to switch to form mercury, or lead, or arsenic or other ascorbate forms. Thus, these other forms of vitamin C useless for this particular purpose. I had always assumed that these forms were able to switch from a non toxic form to a toxic form, and had never read to the contrary. I apologize for this lack of knowledge on my part and others. It seems that when we primates lost the enzyme that turns glucose into ascorbic acid some 65 million years ago, it was much more of a disaster than we have thought. Imagine how healthy we primates would have been today with the huge consumption of sugar. If anyone reading this wants to clear their body of toxic minerals, use the cheapest ascorbic acid available, and do not neutralize the pH. How did I discover this Previously unknown (to me) fact? Simple, a hair analysis on my wife showed that after 25 years of taking Calcium Ascorbate, she had still large accumulations of lead and cadmium from making stained glass over 25 years ago, and if Calcium could have switched to Mercury ascorbate, it would have cleared her body years ago. Dr. Ingrid Naiman has a cilantro-based tincture, read her article here: http://www.kitchendoctor.com/herbs/cilantro.php Zeolite might be helpful. Google it, and talk to my zeolite-expert friend Sharon Hoehner at this email: detoxexpert Replenishing good minerals is a piece of cake. My old love AFA to the rescue. I have used this whole wild miracle food for 13 years now, and can tell good algae from not-so-great. More on where to get what at the bottom of this, it gets complicated. AFA alone is a regenerative substance that supports the functioning of adult stem cells, the ultimate repair system of the body. But even better for that is a product based on AFA extract and a blend of plant extracts called StemPlex. People report great things from StemPlex, including in one case regeneration of a nerve that had been dead. Read about it here. I still have a website but barely do business, or I would not tell you about Vitacost, see below. http://simplexityhealth.com/wildwholefoods SOURCES of AFA These days I buy it in bulk, by the kilo, from this website: http://wildwholefoods.net for a fraction of the price of capsules. The kilo is not on the website, you have to call them. Honesty compels me to tell you that Vitacost has the same product in capsules, ridiculously cheap. The nice people at Power Organics asked me to ask people to call them, to see what sort of deal they can give them. Whatever. Apparently Vitacost is the Walmart of supplements. They do huge volume and are driving the Mom and Pop suppliers, the people who actually produce the product and maintain an informative website, out of business. I can't avoid Walmart either.... I still use Simplexity, formerly CellTech, for the enzymes and probiotics. They are superb, and worth the money. I also like a beginners package called Essentials that makes enzymes, probiotics, and 2 algae products affordable. I use it now and then for the convenience. http://simplexityhealth.com/wildwholefoods
