Guest guest
Hi All, Hope someone has had this situation or knows or can make suggestions. We have a client that runs a Memory care facility with several residents. Most are very good and use the bathroom/toilets as they should. Unfortunately there is one resident that has decided to use the clothes closet as her place to relieve herself. Although they do the mandatory cleaning and sanitation, because of repeated incidents the area/room has a lingering urine odor. The client is going to attempt to place a 'comode' in the closet in hopes they won't need to continue to clean the carpeting etc. But in the meantime they are still dealing with the odor. We explained that essential oils can help to a certain extent but we would see if anyone had any 'miracle deodorizing' essential oil blend that may work for this situation. Al knows from being a custodian for years there is more to the smell of urine removal than just trying to 'cover' it up with scenting. We are trying to find a safe and effective enzymatic action cleaner for her use but anyone that knows of something effective - well we would greatly appreciate it if you can share.
