Guest guest
Hi there everyone! I'm in Jamaica and really can't afford to bring in Melt and Pour soap bases. I need to know if I can use CP soap which I already have and re-batch with some ingredient to make a MP soap base? I'm really aiming at creating Wedding Souvenir soaps with fleximolds so I need a really small amount at a time, that I can color separately and a base that will not solidify easily before molding time. Any help on this would really be appreciated. Times are really slow here in Jamaica and I really need this to work! Guest guest
Can you make M & P from CP? My answer would be no. You can make translucent soap, with the use of alcohol and heat (over a stove), but as yet I haven't tried it, The idea of hot soap over a flame and alcohol scares me. Don't know if it would stay pourable until you can mold it anyway. Maybe someone who has done this can help. The only thing I can suggest is you rebatch small batches at a time. Then you will have the time to put it in the molds. Sorry about my answer, but maybe someone else has a better idea for you. Anita M.
