Guest guest
I posted this today on FB, sharing here: I just opted out of the new Facebook application that shares everything I post with other sites. Everybody got " opted in " involuntarily last week by FB. Go to Account/Privacy Settings/Applications and Websites/Instant Personalization Pilot Program/Edit Settings/Uncheck the box with " Allow select partners " etc., and when the pop up window tries to convince you to stay with the app, " confirm " you are opting out. The press, even US Senators are up in arms about this invasion of privacy. Although I don't find it " scary " since I'm pretty public, I find it presumptuous and greedy on FB's part to " sell " my info.
