Guest guest Posted July 17, 2006 Report Share Posted July 17, 2006 Hi All, Dr Uwe Petermann <DrUwePetermannMelle asked me to broadcast this Call for Papers for the 2007 IVAS Congress, Frankfurt, Germany: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Call for Papers 33rd IVAS World Congress Frankfurt, Germany, August 22-25, 2007 IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) and the German Veterinary Acupuncture Society will hold the 33rd International Annual IVAS Congress on Veterinary Acupuncture in Frankfurt, Germany. The venue will be at Ramada Inn Micador Hotel in Niederhausen, a suburb near the Taunus Mountain range. We invite clinicians and others to submit abstracts of a presentation for our Congress. Articles on acupuncture, acupuncture-related and Chinese medical therapy will be considered, including articles on Chinese herbal medicine, food therapy and Tui-na therapies. As the theme is open-ended, all topics are welcomed. Abstracts for consideration should be typewritten in English, double- spaced and should not exceed a single page of A4 paper with 2.5 cm margins. Abstracts can be sent by e-mail. If so, please format in an MS Word document and send as an attached document, identified as " Abstract for Frankfurt Congress " . Please also include a cover letter with the names of all authors, Curriculum Vitae, phone number and e- mail address. The deadline for submission of abstracts is 1 November, 2006. Notification of acceptance will be sent by 1 December, 2006 to those selected by the program committee. The deadline for submission of the full articles for the Proceedings will be 1 February, 2007. Posters are welcome also. Finally, if you would like to present an equine or canine Wet Lab, please submit your ideas. Papers selected will be printed in the 2007 Proceedings of the Society and presented at the Annual Congress in Frankfurt. Authors of papers selected for presentation receive complementary registration and a banquet ticket. Wetlab instructors also receive complementary registration and a banquet ticket. Poster presenters receive a banquet ticket per poster presentation.
