The venue will be at Ramada Inn Micador Hotel in Niederhausen, a suburb near the Taunus Mountain range. Speakers of international repute will present an interesting programme to cover many different aspects of traditional and modern veterinary acupuncture. Various equine and canine Wet Labs and discussion groups will be offered. A programme will be organised for each evening in order to give as many opportunities as possible for informal communication between lecturers, participants and veterinary colleagues from all continents. The highlight will be the Annual IVAS Banquet. This will facilitate congenial introductions and the formation of new friendships between many colleagues from around the world. An " Owners’ Day " will be held after the congress to explain and demonstrate acupuncture to animal owners. There will be two post-congress trips. One will be 3 days in Munich, with much sightseeing and pleasant evenings. The other will be to the Swiss Wallisian Mountains for mountain hikes and sightseeing in the Wallis Valley. This valley (where the Rhone River flows) is near the famous Matterhorn and has a great history and famous old Villages like Grimentz and Zermatt.
