Guest guest
Hi Carl, I did check the <ben cao bei yao> and <ben cao jing yi shu>, they did not have very specific mention about the last 5 min cooking for chuan xiong, maybe Bob wanted to emphasis chuan xiong just like dang gui contain essential oil, so better for the short time cooking¡K, I shouldn¡¦t talk for Bob at all¡K Christine --- Carl Henryk Wallmark <carlhenryk.wallmark wrote: > Hi all! > > I have read in some of Bob Flaws books that Chuan > xiong should be added > the last 5 minutes when cooking a decoction....I > have never learned > this, so I wonder if this is common practice among > you all? > > Best regards > Carl Wallmark > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been > removed] > > > > > Christine Wei Chang, LAc, MTOM, DAOM BOD & Herbal Medicine Committee American Association of Oriental Medicine (AAOM) 310-951-8698 (cel) panasiaintl " I think, therefore I am.
