Hi All,

 

A question arose about the ingredients and uses of a herbal formula

called Lifeflower [ http://herbal-powers.com/lifeflower.html ].

 

Results from a Google search of several other English & Chinese sites

is summarised below.

 

Apparently, Dengzhanhua (Hb Erigerontis breviscapi) or its extract

(Dengzhanhuasu) is the main ingredient in Lifeflower, which is used to

treat mainly the sequels of CVA & CHD.

Adverse reactions (Buliang Fanying) are relatively few (Jiaoshao): rare

cases of (Gebieyou) skin rash (Pizhen), fatigue (Fali), thirst (Kougan,

mouth dry), etc

 

CI in cases w acute cerebral haemorrhage/those w tendency to

haemorrhage
