When searching for professional details on obscure herbal ingredients, the

starting point for me is to assemble a list of the NAME(s) & SYNONYMS of

the plant or herbal ingredient in English, Latin, Pinyin, Hanzi, Japanese,

Japanese script, Korean, Korean script, etc. [Of course, one could add

synonyms from other languages - Spanish, German, etc]

 

Google is a good place to begin, noting any URLs to databases that may

show up there.

 

Also search Engine of the University of Melbourne MULTILINGUAL

MULTISCRIPT PLANT NAME DATABASE is a good place to start:

Fu Rong Hua or Mufuronghua

Herb for clearing heat

MD: Lungs

Actions:To clear heat, cool Blood, reduce swelling, detoxicate

Indications; carbuncle, boils, burns by hot water, cough due to hot lungs,

vomiting blood, vaginal bleeding, whitish vaginal discharge

Notes: according to experiments antibacterial herb.
