Guest guest
It seems to me that there is a lot of confusion and potential misconceptions about minerals in powdered extracts. First of all, I think we need to separate extracted singles from extracted formulas where all the ingredients are cooked together. I can see that there might be a problem with extracted mineral singles. But I can't see any problem with extracted formulas where all the ingredients have been cooked together. What you then get is the extracted equivalent to a regular decoction. If the minerals don't go into decoction well, so be it. They also won't go into decoction well in the factory for making the extract. But, and here is the important part, the end result won't be any better or worse than making the same formula at home on the stove top. The same percentage of " active ingredients " should wind up in the extract as in the homemade decoction since both start with a water-based decoction. On the other hand, if a formula is made up of a combination of single extracts that contain some mineral ingredients, that's another story altogether. BTW, I'll be in Europe and off-line for the next two weeks starting tomorrow AM. Be well, Bob
