On pages 50-52 of issue #5, 2006 of Zhong Yi Yao Xue Bao (Academic

Journal of & Pharmacology), there is an article on

the anticancer pharmacodynamics of Di Long (Pheretima). This is a

literature review article summarizing published research on this

subject. The anticancer pharmacodynamics of Di Long are categorized

under five heads:

 

1. Controls tumor growth

2. Promotes cell aptosis

3. Strengthens immunity

4. Combats oxidation

5. Improves blood hypercoagulability
