Guest guest
I have mixed feelings and opinions about the doctoral programs in our profession. Since there are several in existence they have gained importance. All I know about the programs comes from " articles " in publications of the organizations who have championed the concept. What are you all thinking about them? JOE
Guest guest
I'm enrolled in a doctoral program right now at Five Braches in San Jose. There have been a couple of dud classes, but most have been excellent. Well worth the time and money. Most students out of the 35 in my class have been practicing 10-20 years. They all seem to be enjoying the experience. I wouldn't recommend it for a newly graduated Masters student, though. Best to get some experience practicing and running a business before doing more school. The fact that we all have years of clinical experience is one of the main factors that makes it worthwhile. - Bill ............................................. Bill Schoenbart, L.Ac. P.O. There were those who got very little from it and those who got a lot from it. I would say that overall, it was a success for me. However, that was because I made the program my own. I took from it what I wanted. -- Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.
