Guest guest
Hey. All I can say in response to the numerous posts about the profession is that I personally have nothing to gain and nothing to lose in this fight. Whether I am right or wrong about various things, I still have the same debt, the same wasted decades of my life. It gives me no pleasure to write things that work against the interests of some whom I have considered friends over the years. However, truth is more important to me than pleasure, loyalty, or friendship. So have no doubt that I believe every word I write and that none of it springs from a sense of malice. Hurting other people for its own sake doesn't solve my problems, nor would it give me any solace. Helping others to avoid the same mistakes doesn't solve my problems, either, but it does give me solace. So say what you will, think what you want, and believe whomever you choose. But always remember, true believers and vested interests are never sources of truth and wisdom. That's all folks. I am pretty sure I don't have anything left to say on this matter.
