Guest guest
Hi everyone, This current discussion regarding the profession of CM has been one of the most valuable in recent months. Having completed most of my academic work but not yet the clinical practice, I am living out this question of workability in TCM quite literally, both in terms of the costs of getting a licence and the likelihood of business success thereafter. the candor of your posts indicate how valuable you must have been as a teacher -- perhaps you will find a way to continue in that capacity -- indeed no one reaches the kind of understanding you have reached without binding considerable shen in the process. This invested spirit will be available to others and to yourself again and again when you teach the material. Having already been reborn as a TCM practitioner, now it is your destiny. The intellect conformed to your earnest and longstanding desire to acquire this knowledge --so practicing and teaching it for the good of humanity will be for you a source of joy and well-being. I am only saying that having become something rare and beautiful, please do no harm to this precious thing during moments of frustration. Is it possible that achieving prosperity is getting to be a little difficult for everyone right now? Lots of people in small business situations are having a tough time, not just TCM practitioners; so its not for nothing that Garison Keillor's recent book is called, Good Poems for Hard Times.
