I would try acupuncture daily at SJ05, SJ17, GB20, BL23, KI07 and GV26

(caution! use muzzle!!)

 

If he does not respond within 3 days, seek a second veterinary opinion.

 

Dr Sagiv Ben Yakir (very experienced) may wish to comment also.
