Diplomate of the National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedics. It's a

board specialty that entailed 300 hours of classes in orthopedics

(east and west approach) over a year. Then we sat for an exam. I

took the courses to be a better practitioner for all musculoskeletal

patients. Alon Marcus, L.Ac., who participates on this list, and

Fred Lerner, DC were the ones teaching such courses back when I did

it in 1999. I'm not sure who does it now. I recommend the training--

I can't imagine treating such cases without it. I'm taking a similar

but more advanced course now with Alon.
