Guest guest
Howdy - Has anyone used the Guan Ci Tang herb line? The catalog says they're GMP certified.. but I don't have any experience with them. I have always used mostly Mayway plum flower and min shan patents, and think they work great... but... lately supplies have been hurting and I can't get some good old standby's like Shou Wu essence, Bu Nao Wan, Shen Tong Zhu Yu Wan, etc. They say there is a problem with getting CITES permits for export. I don't know if that's the whole story or not since other herb companies located closer to the capitol are still exporting formulas with those herbs. My suspicious mind tells me that there's a double edge sword to the Chinese saying that since the distance between the south and the capitol is great, there is a laissez faire attitude. Maybe the closer distance of government to Beijing located herb factories means they have better connections. Just thinking out loud now... the black helicopters are getting closer... ;-) Geoff
