Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I have been on this list through many interesting posts and occasional donnybrooks. Remembering contributions from Ken Rose, the late Jim Ramholz, Rey Tiquia, and all who remain vocal and active now. Not my tendency to pipe up very often, but CHA is a daily source of enrichment and stimulation. This has become more valuable since moving from Maryland to a more isolated area in Ohio. When joining CHA, I was practicing in Sykesville, Maryland (near Baltimore-D.C.). I graduated from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute (now TAI Sophia) and first studied herbs in Ted Kaptchuk's course. Lately have taken Sharon Weizenbaum's Graduate Mentorship Program in Chinese Herbs by distance learning (still catching up in my studies). After taxes, I promise! Two years ago I moved to Athens in southeastern Ohio. This area with its rolling hills and the winding Hocking River, less frenetic lifestyle, beckons me back to my Wisconsin roots. I have a solo practice with an office just off E. State Street, the main commercial strip. I teach taijiquan and qigong, as workshops and classes in my studio. In 2005 I began publication of the /Journal of Martial Arts & Healing/. The journal comes out twice a year on paper and is my main source of stress. If this may interest you, see www.journalofmartialartsandhealing.com Always interested in readers, articles (including poems, art, reviews, and letters), and advertising. <www.journalofmartialartsandhealing.com> Thank you for this opportunity to let you know I'm here and know about others on this list (especially us quiet ones).
