Guest guest
HI All, Reading Bob's latest article on Professor Zhang Yu-zhen's Experiences in the Treatment of Premature Ovarian Failure, to me, highlighted an example of where some division exists with treatment style, The division being whether it is better to treat the pattern or the phase with our infertility patients. It seems to me that patients in the west are going to be a lot less patient with their natural pursuit of pregnancy, than those in China, So when deciding on a treatment strategy, time is of the essence, and we will want to apply the most effective treatment that we can. From studying Jane Lyttleton's excellent work on treating infertility, I have gained a lot of respect for treatment that is timed according to specific events within a woman's cycle. The article that Bob presented seemed to be based more on treating the underlining pattern, without much variation during the phases of the cycle. Does it matter??? I would be interested to hear what others think about this issue. Do you treat just the underlining pattern or do you change your treatment during the different phases? Thanks, Trevor
