IMHO, and I hope I'll be proven wrong, but I can't help believing that

herbal formulas that prove successful via the FDA route will be declared a

" drug " and require a Federal License to dispense it. Like Xiao Chai Hu tang

in treating liver disorders and its Stage 2 FDA approved clinical trials.

The groundwork and system has been in place for several years already under

the FDA's " New Drug " classification which gives authority for the FDA to

declare a herb a drug. The Phyto-pharmacies are all for this as their sales

will sky-rocket well past the mom and pop herbal tea shops.
