Guest guest
Sharon thanks for your post. Can folks weigh in on the pathophys of Yang Xu causing heat flare? Thanks. -p >I would not say she is hot. She has hot flashes which are a result >of either empty heat or full heat. Empty heat can flare if the Qi or >Yang is weak just as easily as when the Yin is weak - so I don't see >how we could say for sure that in general she is hot. You can also apply the same principle to blood stasis in the uterus due to cold from Yang xu.. Long term blood stasis --> heat.. and so on.. Guest guest
Isn't another pathomechanism of heat with qi or yang xu the fact that both qi and yang need to be firm in order to penetrate the yin and blood? If they are not strong enough, they are repelled and float upward causing sensations of heat. -Steve On Mar 12, 2007, at 1:06 PM, fbernall wrote: > , Pamela Zilavy <chexin > wrote: > > > > Sharon thanks for your post. > > Can folks weigh in on the pathophys of Yang Xu causing heat flare? > > Thanks. -p > > > > One mechanism is when, as a result of Kd/Sp Yang xu, qi xu, > water/fluids transportation/transformation is impaired and transforms > to phlegm which after prolonged accumulation turns into heat. > > You can also apply the same principle to blood stasis in the uterus > due to cold from Yang xu..
