Does anyone have any idea when to expect the Concise Chinese Materia

Medica from Wiseman & Brand to be available for purchase? Redwing has

been saying sometime in the spring for quite some time now.

I'm sorry, the blame for the delay sits largely with me personally.

The book has evolved in many ways over the course of its production,

and we made a number of improvements in its presentation that ended up

causing the text to be virtually re-written over time. There were

several surrounding issues beyond the core text itself that required

attention, such as the development of auxiliary materials and the

decision to release the book as an international co-publication with

the involvement of other publishers. The book is now through its

painstakingly long editing process and is undergoing its final

pre-printing typesetting, but the process is a bit slower because

there are multiple publishers involved. Overall, my personal tendency

to wear too many hats caused the timeline of the book to suffer- I was

involved with terminology meetings, clinical work in taiwan, and work

in mainland China... In summary, I apologize to all for the delay-

mea culpa. The good news is that the book is off and running, and it

turned out pretty well.
