Alon: I am grateful to Par Scott for answering your question. One thing I want

to add is about Daoism. In Daoism, the one who obtained the immortal life

becomes a God-like being, even though they do not call them " Gods. " Lao-zi and

Sun Si-miao both were treated as Gods. The publisher of the Song Text, Zao

Kai-mei, was Daoist.
