I don't understand how daily meditation and yoga can be interpreted as signs

of " over-thinking " . Unless there is an obsessive component, the exact

opposite is likely to be true. Both practices encourage calming the mind.

Dear Yehuda, Doug, and Par,

I really appreciate the questions you raise, especially in regard to the

heart yin xu. Tip of her tongue is red, though heart pulse is usually

unremarkable. Nothing major about night dreaming; however, during

treatment she goes into a very deep place, sees colors, and often has

trouble coming back. She will sit for a while on the edge of the table

and I ask her to rest a while downstairs before she drives home. In

regards to sp: she has a very busy, active mind. She and her husband

make films (no children). I will check into all of it and follow up

after her next visit and her sleep study.

One aside, if she is given a CPAP machine for sleep at night, watch for nose

bi from the wind through the nose. This seems to be more of a factor with

the nasal air masks, but can occur with other masks. I find that the air

tends to be cold relative to body temperature even on the heated units,

producing

a cold wind.
