The treatment principles for which this formula was chosen include the following: 1. Harmonizing the constructive and defensive, strengthening diffusion and downbearing 2. Coursing the liver and gallbladder, eliminating depression and stagnation 3. Scattering depressive fire, cooling blood heat 4. Transforming static blood, enriching yin fluids 5.
