IMO, her use of marijuana is only a symptom. She needs to discover /

recognise WHY she " needs " it.

Your paragraphs, above, may hold clues: S & Ss of Marfan syndrome (a

genetic / KI Jing pathology w structural abnormalities & poor circulation -

see: http://www.britannica.com/eb/topic-364537/Marfan-syndrome) probably

are central to her problems.

Medline has no hits for the profile: (marfan AND (marijuana OR cannabi*) ,

so there probably is no documented connection there from western theory.

Also, as a genetic condition, Marfan syndrome.probably preceded the Shen

Disturbance, and may be crucial in causing it (for example Water (KI / Jing

Xu) failing to control Fire (HT/Shen)).

What is the Root? KI / LV / HT / SP / LU imbalance? Combinations?

Your Tx plan may involve herbal and acupuncture approaches to treating the

Root, but also the branch.

Re treating the Branch:

(1) Herbs to support KI and Jing, Calm Shen and Nourish HT may be

important.

(2) Maybe add acupoints for the same aims, selecting from: KI07, CV06,

GV04, SP06, BL23, BL11, BL15, Ear Shenmen; HT07, PC06, Yintang,

Taiyang, GV20.

Best of luck,
