Cupping with Pump Cups

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this forum. I'm in my last 2 semesters of Acupuncture school and

will be

venturing out into the " big bad world " soon, to start up my own practice.

I just have a couple real basic question on types of cups. So far I have only

used the standard

" fire " cups that they sell thru OMS and pretty much every where. They are good,

but since I

don't cup every patient I see in the clinic, I'm not super fast at applying

them. I'm not slow,

but I would like to be able to just pop some cups on real fast.

What do you folks think of the pump cups? Do they work very well, with the

suction.

Obviously, they won't provide any heat, but I'm not looking for that.

Are the glass pump cups able to be cleaned, in case of micro-bleeding and such?

Love to hear your opinions. Take care.

My concern is that plastic is not as easily sterilized as glass. As for the

suction or vacuum, I don't get that this is a big issue, they both suck just

fine.
