HPLC analysis costs a few hundred dollars, which I'm guessing is

more than you want to pay to satisfy your curiosity. This article

Thanks for the link, i did not realize that this alkaloid is present in other

species. I first go a hold of yan hu suo su in China in 1985 and remember that a

couple of years later it was said to have been outlawed. I wander in having the

d and l in the yan hu suo makes stronger or it was just dose related.
