Guest guest
John, I've just had a look at your monographs, what a tremendous project! Very generous of you to post the monographs for all. Would you let us know your sources for functions, taste, temp and meridians entered? Did you need to extrapolate much from western sources and info? Guest guest
- Hi Jonahtan, all the references, formulae and additional materia medica information are listed in the eBook, but basically the main sources are: - Materia Medica, Bensky and Gamble - Oriental Materia Medica, Hong-Yen Hsu - Jade Remedies, Peter Holmes - The Energetics of Western Herbs, Peter Holmes - The Pharmacology of Chinese Herbs, Kee Chang Huang - Chinese Traditional Herbal Medicine, Michael and Leslie Tierra - The Encyclopedia fo Medicinal Plants, Andrew Chevallier - Encyclopedia of Herbs and Their Uses, Deni Bown - Building a bridge between Eastern and Western herbal knowledge bases has always been a fascination for me, which is why I have tried to capture the Western properties of the Chinese herbs, the energetic properties of the Western herbs and their associated pharmacological data in each of the monographs Best Regards John F.
