Guest guest
I am researching a topical treatment for psoriasis that one of the my teachers in China was really into: CPT (Camptothecin?). CPT is (I think?) an alkaloid derived from the Chinese tree Camptotheca acuminata Decne. Searching the internet has not been too helpful in yielding useful information, for example, where to get it, does it work etc etc.. One quote from a respected journal is " Reports of topical use of CPT preparations in treatment of psoriasis vulgaris have shown considerable effectiveness and no severe side effects but mild local irritations. " I was wondering if others know anything about this or other effective topical treatments. On a side note: I also remember some scratching method on the ear where black pepper is put on the scratch.. or something like that???? Does that ring any bells??
