I recently received the following email which is scam. see the following

Acupuncturist Needed....

 

 

Hello,

How are you today? My name is Mrs Cristina Camberini , I live and work

here in italy, i am 36yrs old. I have been doing massage since 1989.I do a deep

relaxation massage in which the muscles relax without pain. I also do energy

massage that helps people feel great when I am done. I am certified to do

pregnancy massage. I have lots of happy clients here in italy.I have a client

Mr.Matteo Grottoli A model here in italy. he will be coming to the U.S in three

weeks time for a modeling job and he will be residing in California temporarily

until the neccesary arrangement for his job has been made before he leaves, he's

having Lower Back and Neck Pain chronic pain syndromes and he will be needing

Acupuncture of 90 minutes three sessions a week for One Month also the use of

soothing tones and music to help relieve stress.

Mr.Matteo Grottoli asked me to come with him to the US but i told him i would

not be able to go with him to the US as i have a course i will be going for in a

week time and because i dont know much about Acupuncture. So i promised to help

him get a good acupuncturist in your Area.

 

yesterday i made enquiries with some old Acupuncture friends and i received your

referral from Mrs.Feng Lee an old friend of mine,

 

Pls tell me a little more about your self,how long have you been doing

Acupuncture? and can you give him a good Acupuncture?

Pls i need you to get back to me with the amount you charge per session and

also let me know if he can pay you via Us Postal Money Orders?

I received one looking for someone to tutor his son in TCM. Boy, was I confused

yet

intrigued till I got to the part about the money order. A little too close for

comfort.

 

Totally off TCM but very interesting is a group of web guys who do a very

dangerous

game of pulling switches on these guys, having them send money and doing goofy

things

in return.

Hi Steve and all,

 

Someone tried to perpetrate this scam on me about 6 months ago. They found me

through a listing I had through Psychology Today's alternative health

practitioner list. I caught on before I lost any money, because the phony

cashier's check was drawn on a Texas bank, and mailed from Massachusetts. I

googled the bank and found they'd been a victim of phone cashier checks for

years. I also called the bank's security department, and they referred me to

the FBI's department of internal affairs, or something like that. The guy

trying to swindle me was using the name of Hanks Thomas.

 

Be careful, everyone. There are some real creepos out there.
