CHA members, sorry about the out of office messages. I removed close to 50 this

morning. It is something that I would have thought would have caught as a

type of

spam.

Doug,

 

I have also encountered this problem on other groups. If people will

be leaving automated responses with their email program when they

are out of town, they need to go to the and disable the

feature that instructs CHA to email them individual messages or a

daily digest. I would be glad to post the instructions on how to do

this, if you would like.

Basically, every time while on vacation you would get a CHA (for example)

message, it

would kick back an automated response to CHA. (In fact I got back an automated

response when I informed the person I was cutting them off.) I had to ban Simon

otherwise

it would continue or I would have to filter the many responses he would

generate. He will

have to re-enroll when he gets back from vacation. I would suggest that in

general

members are better off by bookmarking in your browser the CHA web site at

to
