Guest guest
As often happens on this and other groups, a member can accidentally spam the entire group with " out of the office " messages when they leave town. This happens because they are either receiving a daily digest to their email account, or they are receiving individual emails from every post. This causes a daily or multiple daily messages to be sent out to the entire group. Here is a simple way to avoid sending " out of the office " messages to the CHA group: 1. Go to the main CHA page and sign in if you're not already: http://health./ 2. At the top of the page, click on " Edit Membership " . 3. Under Step 2, Message Delivery, select " Web Only " . 4. At the bottom of the page, click on " Save Changes " . That's all you need to do! Your email program can still send out your " out of the office " email, but it will no longer get sent to the CHA group. When you are back in town, go back to the web site and select your preferred mode of message delivery under Edit Membership. Everything will go back to the way it was before you left town. Just don't forget to also disable the " out of the office " message in your personal email program when you are back in town. - Bill
