My friend's 11-year-old lab/pitbull mix was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer. Due to her age, they don't plan on doing any surgery or chemo. The prognosis is six months. At this point, the only symptom is fatigue. After metastasis, lung symptoms will probably develop. I'm assuming that any treatment will be palliative and probably won't address the cancer. - Bill
