Guest guest
Dear Colleagues & Friends of Veterinary Acupuncture, After a long period of work and revision, Dr. med. vet. Uwe Petermann DVM has published his book - PCLAC (Pulse Controlled Laser Acupuncture Concept). The book will be available the first time at the IVAS congress in Frankfurt, later this month. It combines the content of Uwe's two German books about controlled acupuncture and ear acupuncture in horses and dogs. It also contains all his body acupuncture maps that are not created by transposition from humans to animals, but by RAC control with the specific Reininger meridian frequencies of the laser. With these frequencies, one finds only acupuncture points of that special meridian at their place in humans, dogs or horses. Most of the RAC-located points coincided with the well known IVAS locations; some differed slightly but a few were found in really different locations than those taught by IVAS. Uwe's book also contents all his ear acupuncture maps with all orthopedic locations (fetlock, knee, hip, shoulder elbow, vertebrae etc.), all organ points (liver, kidneys, uterus, spleen, pancreas, pineal gland etc.) and one map for each pathway of all meridians on the ear. The book also contents parts of lectures and courses that Uwe gave in the last few years in different places of the world about his research results in COPD (RAO), back pain, wound healing etc.. Hopefully this book will give the reader an idea about the concept of PCLA that Uwe developed over the last 20 years in veterinary acupuncture. It is based on TCM and on Western medicine. East and West are getting close in ear acupuncture in a truly impressive way. The concept of Pulse Controlled Laser Acupuncture PCLA is a really holistic therapy concept. Uwe's aim is to open minds for this concept and to motivate colleagues to test and perhaps integrate some of his ideas into their own concepst. Interested colleagues may see a complete introduction of the book, including a table of contents and a reading sample on Uwe's homepage: www.akupunkturtierarzt.de Click the button for PCLAC book on the left-hand side.
