Dear Friends,

I frequently come across patients past their mid 40's, who seemingly do seems

right, yet just don't seem to be able to " turn the corner " and really feel

good. I want to share with you a brief exchange with one such patient over the

course of the past few days after treating her last Sunday:

" I still have the sores on the roof of my mouth, I guess it will take a few

days to clear up "

A couple of things: First of all, the Zhi Bai Di Huang wan should help the

sores. Avoid all spicy and potentially allergic/sensitive foods. Specifically

avoid foods high in the Amino Acid Arginine such as chocolate, cola, peas,

grain cereals(yes, Ezekial), nuts, especially cashews, peanut butter, cocoa

powder, sesame seeds, buckwheat flour, and beer. The herpes virus requires

L-arginine as an essential amino acid.

" I still have the sores in my mouth, on the roof, I'd call them ulcers, I'm

waiting to see a dentist to give the herbs a chance to work. For the past at

least 3 days, every morning at about 1.5 hours after I get up, I've had to run

to the bathroom for diarrhea attacks - I've had it before, and it cleared up

some, but it's back in full force "

Are you getting adequate sleep? Are you avoiding foods high in Arginine?

" Not getting enough sleep, that would help? (I am) Avoiding (the harmful)

foods "

For someone who is Yin and blood vacuitous as you are, three intangibles are

incredibly important--and I dare to say you will never turn the corner without

resolving them: 1. Assuming that you are careful about diet as we have spoken

you must make sure to not just eat the right foods, but eat them in the right

way: eating slowly, relaxed, chewing them well, not doing anything else while

eating, really being conscious of the act of eating while you are doing it, and

literally thinking while you are eating that you are nourishing your body and

soul. 2. Relaxing, letting go and really being happy with what has been given

to you. Not beating yourself up about things that you can't change. Giving

control over to Ha-Shem, BUT, indeed taking care of the things that you are able

to change. 3. Getting adequate sleep. Incredible healing takes place in our

bodies, minds, emotions and souls when we have deep, restful sleep. VERY LITTLE

IS MORE IMPORTANT--THAT IS IF YOU WANT

TO GET WELL! That also means that if for what ever reason you haven't had

enough sleep, that you grab a 15 minute power nap during the daytime.

respectfully,
