Guest guest
Going into the Cold & Flu season I was thinking about giving out some GML as an introduction to herbal medicine. I would like opinions on the cheaper versions on this formula, those that typically go around a dollar a bottle. Peace Ed Kasper LAc. Guest guest
Ed, The cheaper versions usually have artificial food coloring. Some of the Gan Mao variations also have drugs or heavy metals. I would stick to the Plum Flower Gan Mao Ling if I were you. - Bill , " Happy Herbalist " <eddy wrote: > > Going into the Cold & Flu season I was thinking about giving out some GML as > an introduction to herbal medicine. Guest guest
I wonder if Kan Herbs sell it- they make it here in USA , they do extensive testing done by independent laboratories have a certificate of analysis per batch. I just dont trust the pills manufactures in China anymore what with the pet food issue and the toy recalls. Guest guest
Yes, Kan does make gan mao ling. In liquid form, it is quite potent. They also make a variety of other formulas for early stages of wind invasion - wind heat, wind cold, wind dryness, wind damp, etc. Plum Flower's version also works quite well and is more affordable. vzemana <drvjrz wrote: I wonder if Kan Herbs sell it- they make it here in USA , they do extensive testing done by independent laboratories have a certificate of analysis per batch.
