Guest guest
Dear Members, As an OM student, my favorite branch of TCM is definitely herbalism. Reading the current and past posts on this newsgroup is packed with an incredible amount of useful information and even clinical pearls of wisdom. I'm thankful for this resource. I'm wondering if any practitioners here have had patients who have either worked with a professional homeopath before, or concurrently while being treated by Chinese Herbal Medicine and/or acupuncture?? Do you find that it is difficult or even impossible to treat the patients condition with herbs and/or acupuncture? A few notable OM practitioners practice both, i.e. Randy Neustadter and others. I wish I knew why. Any thoughts on homeopathy, in general? Any comments or thoughts you could share, I'd sincerely appreciate. Thank you! Respectfully, Preston Foell
Guest guest
- Hi, my wife Susan, who is a Homeopath, and I have a joint practice where we see clients together - I treat them with Chinese and Western herbs and Susan with homeopathy - We find this combination works very well - The homeopathic remedies of course have to be taken one half hour away from any other food and drink (including the herbs) - We have been using this joint modality for over ten years and find good complemntarity (i.e. achieving better outcomes than either modality by itself) - On a broader front, homeopathy is information medicine with the " message " stored in the liquid crystal structure of the water (which is why it has to be taken on a " clean " tongue so that the body can read the message) Best Regards John Freeman D.Sc., M.H., C.H., P.Eng.
