I was wondering if someone that has " The Essentials of Chinese Diagnostics

(Porkert) " could post the difference Porkert makes between the pulses: ru

mai (frail) and ruan mai (soft). Does anyone know of another source, either

in Chinese or English, that differentiates these?

Thanks,

Mai Jing : ruan - one called: ru, one called minute and soft; ruan mai is soft,

float and thin

Ru mai : feels like thin cloth float on water, very easy to get, not in the

human and earth level; it is damp evil on the surface

some doctors describe ru, ruan mai together but some others don't
