Guest guest
Last night in a class, I remembered the disease- diagnosis of Zhu Li, which I rrecall as redness flushing upward from the chest. Can anyone point me to a discussion or article about it. It seems like either a JCM or a Blue Poppy thing but I can't find reference to Zhu Li on their or any other web-sites. I don't think I just dreamed it up. ;-) thanks, Doug
Guest guest
This makes me think of Xu Li, the Stomach Great Luo collateral. In Yitian Ni's book " Navigating the Channels " she discusses the point. " Located on the left side of the chest where the heart beat can be seen. " Excess pathologies are rapid breathing, irregular breathing and dypsnea. Deficiency pathologies include compression and suffocating sensation in the chest as in asthmatic breathing, cough, angina pectoris and heart attack. I wonder if this is what you are referring to. It's also useful in " treating hysteria or anxiety attacks, with gasping for breath. " It's a dream of a point for sure. - Jan On Oct 19, 2007, at 10:20 AM, wrote: > Last night in a class, I remembered the disease- diagnosis of Zhu > Li, which I rrecall as > redness flushing upward from the chest. Guest guest
Wow - glad you brought this up - I have a patient with exactly the same thing right now. I'm treating it as Heart Yin Xu Fire with Dao Chi San - since it comes up when she's upset or put on the spot. The redness goes from the top of the bra right up through the neck and ears. It's lifelong for her and is starting to improve, but it would be great to hear more. Guest guest
Well, I haven't had much luck finding out about it. I know I didn't dream it up. Could it have been Xu Li? My Chinese friends hadn't heard of it. The search goes on. Doug , " G Hudson " <crudo20 wrote: > > Wow - glad you brought this up - I have a patient with exactly the > same thing right now.
