Guest guest
Hi All, MOZILLA FIREFOX is a much faster Web Browser than MS Internet Explorer. If you use FIREFOX as your Browser, many Chinese pages found by Google do NOT have the " [ Translate this page ] " option on the first line of each Google record. For example, see: http://tinyurl.com/2zuxup So, how can one translate these pages easily? If you regularly attempt Chinese text translation from WWW, you may wish to BOOKMARK this address or put it in your Firefox / IE Explorer Menubar: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en & sl=zh-TW & u=http://XXXX To translate a Chinese Webpage, simply replace the XXXX with the Chinese URL, for example www.tcmlib.com/fj/html777/showdetail- 37373639392ce892b4e8978be6a0b9e6b1812c666a.html Google Translate does a poor job on translating Chinese text and one CANNOT rely on it for sound technical data from Chinese. However, Google Translate has one great advantage: it intersperces (sentence-by-sentence) its translation with the original Chinese text. This allows one to copy the Google output (in English INTERSPERSED WITH Chinese) into WenLin Chinese software for further processing.
