Hi All,

Many thanks to Elizabeth Walker (VBMA List) for the following tip.

You can download the WHO list of terminology used in oriental medicine as

a pdf file from http://tinyurl.com/3drvut

The file is large (>2Mb) and takes a while to load. If you save it to your hard

drive, you can search and copy terms from it easily.

While we wait for easily editable terminology from scholars like Nigel

Wiseman, the WHO list will allow those interested to copy the Hanzi

characters (in Formal Hanzi) and use them for WWW searches.

This list does NOT include the Pinyin terms. Those interested will have to

run the file (or Hanzi terms of interest from it) through Wenlin to convert the

characters to accented or numbered pinyin.

It is easy to remove the numbers later using edit / replace-all in MS Word or

Excel

Best regards,
