Guest guest
Gloria, I am confused by what you wrote below. Having been involved personally with 12-step programs for the last 21 years, I don't know what " Level 540 " is, and I have never heard of " The Field " . I believe these concepts are not found within 12-step programs. Can you kindly elucidate? And for J. Lynn Detamore, What is an ED? I know of it as an acronym only for Erectile Dysfunction, but that doesn't seem to suit this context! I ran into some castigation on one of these lists within this last year for asking what PCOS stood for - while I of course I know what the disease is, I guess I'm just not good with acronyms... so what is the ED you refer to? Sometimes it gets confusing which comments were made by whom, so if I inappropriately addressed my questions to the wrong persons here, I apologize and hope the proper persons will answer them. Thank you, Gloria: The only hope, if there's one, is to engage in a 12 step programme with psychiatric help within it. This is no guaranty however, that the patient will recover, but it's the only hopeful avenue conducive to a higher level of consciousness, where as previously stated, at the level of 540 or higher, the disease resolves itself in The Field. Guest guest
In this context Gloria meant Eating Disorders. Doug > And for J. Lynn Detamore, > > What is an ED? Guest guest
Hello Andrea, Dr. David R. Hawkins from the Consciousness Research Institute in Arizona, created the Map of Consciousness, where he and his team kinesiologically calibrated different levels of consciousness. Logarithmically from 20 to 1000 (this means base 10 to the power of 20, and likewise base 10 to the power of 1000) 20 is the lowest, its Shame, and 1000 is the highest humanly possible, its Enlightenment. Within this range are all the other states. To make a very long story short, 540 is the level of Joy, where the God view is: One; the Life-view: Complete; the emotion: Serenity; and the process: Transfiguration. " The Field " is a state that some Budhist monks elevate to, during meditation. Akin to Samadhi, but not quite yet. If your level of consciousness enters The Field, is the same as achieving oneness with Self. Being able to reach this state, at least for a nanosecond, changes one's life. For an addict, or an obsessive/compulsive, inclusive here is eating disorder, the only path conducive to this, short of being a Yogi, a Budhist monk, or any of the professional " meditators, " is for the Px. to engage in a 12 step program whichever it might be, and do it mindfully for whatever long it takes in order to address their aberrations. When I mentioned the interwoven psychiatric intervention within the 12 step program, I indeed meant to say concurrent, and I might add at this time that the psychiatric treatment needs to be Pre-and-concurrent 12 step. This is because the Px. MUST be off denial to truthfully follow the program. As for the concepts being found in the 12 step program, or not; it might perhaps not be literally expressed by your sponsor or the literature you get regularly, but it's there. Remember that you'll see and hear only what you're prepared to. As times goes by and your awareness expands, you shall see and hear more. If you have further inquiries, please contact me privately.
