Chinese data on Echinacea: Warm or COOL Herb?

but I must go to bed.

 

Is Zizhuiju (Hb Echinaceae purpurese) a Warm / Cool Hb? From the

Chinese data below, I think it is COOL.

 

Echinacea has many Pinyin names:

 

Hb: Zizhuiju / Zisongguo / Zisongguoju (Echinacea purpurea); Xiayezizhuiju /

Xiayesongguoju (Echinacea angustifolia); Xiayezizhui ; Songguoju /

Z'ev, I am not sure of that! I agree, however, that combining Echinacea w

traditional Chinese Hbs must be seen as experimental (i.e; not researched /

established / documented fully) at this time.

 

In modern antibacterial / antiviral formulas for human (and esp animal)

diseases in China, Echinacea is used w other Hbs, including Cool Hbs like

Jinyinhua & Huangbai but also w Warm Hbs like Huangqi, Jingjie &

Fangfeng; See formulas Nongda #1 & Jingfang Baidu San, below);
