Guest guest
I notice in Jason's post an insertion of Chinese characters. What software enables you to do this? Anyone else with information, please chime in. I publish a journal in PageMaker 7.0 and need a way to insert characters that is not too labor-intensive. Thanks. Guest guest
Frances, I think most major operating systems will allow you to do this. For example I use Windows XP and this feature can be installed at set-up or at a later date (start-> control panel-> regional and language options --> languages --> install files for east Asian languages). One can then insert characters (via i.e. pinyin) into any document (i.e. word etc), email, web search etc. Let me know if you have further questions. -Jason _____ On Behalf Of Frances L. Guest guest
I'm on a mac and it's also built in and easy. There is an american flag icon at the top right menu. Click and hold this and scroll down to " open international " . You can then select the language and input method. Let me know if you need assistance to access this.
