Guest guest
My name is Wally, and I graduated from the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin in Dec 2004. I am co-owner of South Austin Community Acupuncture, a very neighborhood-centric high volume acupuncture clinic. While I was a student I apprenticed at Allen Cline's clinic the Turtle Dragon. At the time there was a Chinese doctor there named Wu Peirong, a non-English speaker who worked through translators. I had the wonderful experience of learning to read the characters for the herbs and fill his scripts. It was a perfectly magical way to learn herbs. It was a very bustling place for the most part, and that really shaped my vision of what a clinic should be like. I love studying herbs, and I love collecting books on herbal lore and visiting herb shops. Wally Doggett LAc South Austin Community Acupuncture 2041 S. Lamar, Austin TX 78704 Tel.
