Fu Zheng during pregnancy and lactation.

I have a patient with low malignancy ovarian cancer who is undergoing IVF

for pregnancy. (Can't get pregnant because of insulin resistance/ Spleen qi

xu-phlegm pattern with stagnation.) Her oncologist is watching the cancer and

will allow her another successful pregnancy and lactation period. However

it would be useful if we could support slowing the cancer with fu zheng,

especially as she is prone to tumors (several benign requiring surgical removal

and family history of brain cancers.) Does anyone have experience with fu

zheng formula during pregnancy and lactation?

 

 

(Fu zheng with codonopsis, schisandra, eleuthero, astragalus, ligustrum,

ganoderma, bai zhu atractylodes and licorice.)
