Guest guest
Geoff, In Korea, they say you shouldn't take Ginseng until you hit 40. It tonifies the yuan qi strongly, especially the red (processed). I've seen people who do a lot of qi gong with the intent of tonifying and not moving the qi, so they get really stagnant and hot. Another reason to add Fang feng to Yu ping feng san, to add some movement to Huang qi and Bai zhu... Thanks. As far as teachings go, do not rely upon the words alone, but rely upon the meaning that underlies them. Regarding the meaning, do not rely upon the provisional meaning alone, but rely upon the definitive meaning. And regarding the definitive meaning, do not rely upon ordinary consciousness, but rely upon wisdom awareness.
